PINKSTINKS is a campaign that targets the products, media and marketing that prescribe heavily stereotyped and limiting roles to young girls. Conceived in May 2008 by London based parents and sisters Abi and Emma Moore, PINKSTINKS confronts marketers’ fostering on girls appearance and passive and obsessed with shopping, fashion and make up – this promotes a dangerously narrow definition of what it means to be a girl. In Fall of 2012 PINKSTINKS Germany was founded.
