Dominique Grisard is working on a book length history of femininity, sexuality and whiteness through and around the color PINK. She is a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University in New York and a Swiss National Science Foundation fellow. Dominique teaches Gender Studies at the University of Basel, Switzerland.

Dominique has published on left wing terrorism, the imprisonment of women, and on gender history and theory more generally. She is the author of Gendering Terror, a history of the specter of the female terrorist in 1970s Switzerland and Germany (Frankfurt/New York: Campus, 2011) and the editor of three anthologies on gender theory.
